Fourth of July Foyer Decor

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice day! It's beautiful here but, it is supposed to rain all week starting tomorrow.       I decorated my foyer for the 4th of July and wanted to share some photos with you.

Simple Summer fun!

I have had the distressed white basket of Summer flowers for years and just love it!

I added a batter tea light to the little wagon.

I love the sweet Patriotic Holly Hobbie plate.

I made the cute little rag doll.

Here is her little Radio Flyer wagon full of daisies.

And this is my flag mini quilt that I made a few weeks ago.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my foyer all decked out for the 4th!  Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Our Polly and Poppy's Halloween Photos

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a nice Sunday afternoon. I just took a nice zucchini bread out of the oven and shredded and froze 15 cups of zucchini.
I wanted to share some photos of our sweet kitties Polly and Poppy.
This is sweet little Polly. She pushed the pumpkin flower arrangement over trying to smell the silk flowers.
She's so cute!
And this is sweet little Poppy. Shes so photogenic!
We just love our precious Polly and Poppy! They are sisters, rescue kitties.
Well, thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Kitty Thank You Card

Hello everyone. I hope you are all well!   It is getting ready to storm here.        I have some sad news. Our precious kitty Clementine had to be put to sleep Saturday morning. We are devastated. She was 15 years old and was the sweetest kitty you could ever have. Everyone at the Vet office just loved her.  She had been battling diabetes since Christmas. I had to give her insulin shots twice a day. Last week her kidneys started shutting down and she couldn't walk with her hind legs. She wasn't eating or drinking and was having trouble going potty. Her favorite thing in the world was Temptations cat treats and when she refused to eat some we knew it was bad. We didn't want her to suffer any more so we made the heartbreaking decision to let her go.     The Vet, Dr. Boston and everyone at the Vet office were so kind and compassionate and let us stay with her until she passed.     We couldn't even come home so, we went for long ride.
We wanted to thank everyone at the Countryside Veterinary Clinic so I made a card to send to them.
Here is the card that I made. I love the sweet image!
This is our three precious kitty's, now all together again in kitty heaven, Cricket, Daisy and Clementine.
   We received her ashes today.
We miss her so much!
Thank you for stopping by, stay safe and have a good evening.
Hugs Pam

I'm A Great-Grandma!

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice day! It is nice and sunny and a little chilly hear.
I have some special news, I'm a great-grandma! Little Gideon Andrew was born October 18th. My grand-daughter Alexis had to have an emergency C-section 3 weeks early. Even though Gideon was considered a preemie he was 9-1/2 lbs and 22 inches long. Everything checked out for a normal healthy baby but the next day they saw his breathing was labored. Because he  was born by C-section  he had fluid on his lungs which made it so he wasn't eating much which lowered his blood sugar. Well he  was put in NICU for a week. I felt so bad for Alexis and Christian having to go home  without their baby. The went to the NICU every day (he was improving daily) and by Thursday the Doctor wanted them to spend the night so Alexis could nurse him. Well the next day they were able to take him home! They are so excited! Little Gideon is very loved and gets LOTS of attention!
Here a some photos of Gideon.
This is a little while after he was born.
Just look at those chubby cheeks!
Daddy is holding him so carefully!
He is such a little doll baby! 2 weeks old
A doll baby with attitude! 2-1/2 weeks old.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the photos.    Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Happy Halloween! "I'm going to be mommy "

Hello everyone and Happy Halloween!  Well it has been stormy all day and still is! Cloudy, dreary, rain, high winds and a tornado warning! So much for handing out candy!

Here are photos of my youngest daughter (on the left) when she was little and her daughter (on the right). I made both costumes, hats and trick-or-treat bags. The costumes are glow in the dark. My daughter said when people would ask Ruby what she was going to be for Halloween she replied " I'm going to be mommy". I love it!

FSU Dress and Top with Shorts

Hello everyone, I hope your day is going well! Another very rainy day here!        I'm here with some more sewing projects. FSU (Florida State University) projects to be exact.
I made this cute little FSU pillowcase dress for my grand-daughter Ruby. She loves these dresses, cool, comfortable and as she grows they can be used as a top! When weather gets a little cool she can wear a T-shirt under it.
I used the alphabet stitches on my sewing machine to sew FSU on the accent strip around the dress. I love how it turned out!
I had enough fabric to make a top and made some shorts to go with it!    I have had this fabric for a while. My daughter picked it out because of the FSU colors and the arrows (FSU Seminoles) I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects!    Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
