Pink Polka-dot Puppy Valentine Box

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well and staying warm! We are getting some pretty cold weather this week, in the teens! BRRRRR!!!!            I have taken a little break from crafting since Christmas. I was just worn out! I made up for it the past week and a half though. Valentine time!
I made this cute box for Ruby to collect Valentines in her dance class. She loves pink.
The box folds flat for ease in mailing.
The box is fairly big so it is perfect to hold her Valentine loot! The main box took 2-1/2 sheets of 12x12  cardstock.
Isn't that polka-dot puppy adorable! I cut out a heart and scallop layer, wrote in Ruby's name then cut a slit for the puppy's mouth and inserted the Valentine. CUTE! Can you see the sparkle in the print paper?
This is the backside of the box. I die cut her name. I love it!
Last but not least, I die cut this beautiful bow! It ordered it from Ebay in two sizes and they just came in the mail today while I was working on the box!!!!! I just love the bow and it cut out beautifully!
Well there you have it my start of Valentine projects. Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great evening!

Hugs Pam

Down on the Farm Magnetic Play Set

Hello everyone, I hope you have had a nice day! It has been very hot here! On top of that, my back has hurt all day soooo, I spent the most part of the day on a heating pad, thank goodness for air conditioning!
I want to share the adorable play set that I made for my grand-daughter. Her 3rd birthday is coming up next month so I have been busy making things for her. This play set matches the cute down on the farm box birthday card I made for her.
Here is the play sheet and box. I saw this on one of Doodlebug Designs post and I just absolutely new I had to make it for Ruby! I can't remember the designer but, thank you for telling how you made it!
The play sheet is made from a cookie sheet. I decorated it with cardstock that I cut out for the landscape.
I decided to make my own box and I love how it turned out! The Doodlebug designer purchased a plastic box and decorated it.
Here is a photo of the attached lid. I glued it and then added brads.
There is a Velcro closure and gingham ribbon handle. I wanted the inside to be bright and cheerful.
There are sooooo many cute play pieces! House, barn, stable, sun, clouds, chicken coop, truck, tractor, lots of farm animals, flowers, seed packets, fence, trees, even a little worm.
Here are some of the pieces on the play sheet.
Here are some more of the cute pieces. There are just too many pieces to show all of them! I purchased the Doodlebug cut outs, laminated them and added magnetic tape to the backs of every piece.
Here is the play sheet, box of farm pieces and the box card I made for Ruby. I love the adorable set and I'm sure it will keep her busy creating different scenes for a while!  I would love to do more these for her. The possibilities are endless! Christmas, Halloween, Beach, Princess etc.,.  I am also working on a dress and a cute outfit for Ruby as well and will post them when I finish them.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the magnetic play set!   Thank you for stopping by and have a good evening!

Mrs. Claus Cookies Box and Shirt

Good morning everyone!        I  had a request from my daughter to make a recipe card from Mrs. Claus. You see, she asked Ruby what she wanted from Santa Claus. Ruby replied "Strawberry Cookies"! My daughter had a recipe for strawberry cookies and sent it to me by by e-mail. I found a cute recipe card from Mrs. Claus on Google. I added Mrs. Claus and Santa and typed in the Recipe and Ruby's name and printed it out (she is going to frame it to sit it up on her cookbook bookcase every Christmas). She is going to get a box and put most of the ingredients, (sans refrigerated items) in the box with the recipe from Santa. I decided to take it a step further and decorate a cute little shirt with an iron on and make a box to match it.          Of course Ruby is getting more than strawberry cookies for Christmas. I know for a fact she is getting a tricycle and baby doll.
I talked to her last night and she had just gone to a concert that her Mom conducted (she is Director of Music at a school). Mom asked again what she wanted from Santa and she said "a marching band", and I said what about a baby doll? Ruby replied a "baby doll and a marching band".  I don't think we can fit a marching band in a box!
Here is the Recipe card from "Mrs. Claus". I put a piece of paper over Ruby's full name.
Here is the shirt and matching box.
I love the added jingle bells with twine.
here is the back of the box. Mom or Dad can fill in Ruby's list.
Here is the top of the box.                                        I hope you enjoyed the story. Have a wonderful day and thank you for stopping buy!

Silhouette File for box and iron on for shirt.
Recipe Card found on Google. I added Mrs. Claus and Santa and the Recipe.

Autumn Acorn Boxes

Good evening everyone, I hope you all had a nice day!   I have been working up a storm on all of my projects!!! Last week I made 2 hats, 3 scarves, 20 Chapstick key rings (so cute), 3 acorn boxes and I am still going!        I wanted to share the acorn boxes this evening. I LOVE them!!!!!
Here are my boxes. See the little treats inside?
On one I used pattern paper and the others I embossed.
I used a set of dies I have had for a few years to cut the oak leaves and topped them off with some beautiful rusty copper bows .
I just LOVE this file from SVG Cuts! They have such beautiful files and believe it or not, these were surprisingly easy to put together!     I hope you enjoyed seeing my acorn boxes.   Have a great evening and thank you for stopping by! Happy Halloween!

Two Valentine Cards

Hello everyone, Happy Valentines Day!     I couldn't make up my mind between these two cards  to post foe Valentines Day so I just chose both.
For my first card I used this Flattened Box file, I just love it! I was created by Melody Lane on Cricut Design Space with Melody Lane on Facebook. The file is free Here is the link................ https://www.facebook.com/groups/CricutDesignSpace/files/
I used red metallic cardstock to cut the box and the hearts out with my Silhouette. I wanted the look of hearts exploding out of the box. I think that I achieved that look. I love the sweet little hearts embossing folder.
I added glitter speckled tissue paper to the box. My hearts are suspended on pieces of clear plastic cut in strips from embossing folder packaging (I knew I could use that nice clear plastic for something).
Here is the inside of my card. I used a $1.00 rubber stamp.

On to my second card...............
This is a side step card I made using my Silhouette. The images are files from My Scrap Chick. I just love that cute little monkey!
I used the same hearts embossing folder for the background and a Swiss dots embossing folder for the bottom strip.
When I cut out the sentiment, I cut a few extra hearts and extra leaf to go across the bottom.     I love how both cards turned out!    Thank you for stopping by!  Have a great Valentines Day!

Hello everyone! Well, once again Easter is almost here. We have been having beautiful weather. The daffodils, forsythia, and tulips are blooming, the trees are buding with pink and white blossoms with little hints of Spring green. The first day of Spring is tomorrow and we are yet again going to have cold weather. Oh well, it is not supposed to last, and before long it will be so hot we will wish we had a cold snap to cool off!
