Kitten Thank You Card

Well, I'm back to working on some of my paper crafting. I made this sweet thank you card for Sara, the lady who brought us our precious little rescue kitties. We love them so much and they are really good therapy during my chemotherapy, even my Doctor said so. Sara teaches at a college in Florida. The kittens were born in the wild around the college and she saw them running around. She managed to catch my two (they were about 5 weeks old). Two days later she caught another one the one she kept). They never could find the fourth one. I hate to think of what may have happened to it, to all of them! Sara and her husband were coming up to their vacation cabin and offered to bring the kitties. We had such a nice visit and dinner and it was love at first when she handed us the kittens! Sara said we are related by kittens now because she has their sister. Thank God for people like Sara who cared enough to saves these babies!

Here is the card I made for Sara. I love the little kitties in the boot!
Here are our precious little babies! They were 9 weeks old when we received them. I named them Polly and Poppy but my husband calls them big paw and little paw because Poppy has Hemingway paws, paws with an extra toe.
Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Best Fishes Birthday Card

Hello everyone.  I hope you all are staying safe during this Pandemic. It's very scary and I sort of had a panic attack yesterday morning. I know it  was from watching all of the news. I'm trying not to watch as much. The Governor issued a stay at home order that went into effect 5;00 yesterday. We have plenty of food and supplies and plenty of things to do.  I know we will be sooooo happy when this is over as we all will!

My hubby's birthday was March 28th.  I am sharing the card that I made for him. He loves fishing so this was a perfect card for him.
Mary of CARDZ TV did a tutorial on this cute pop-up card and I thought it would be perfect for all the fishing images. Thank you Mary!
I stamped the fishing scene on my light blue inked card stock.
I used my glitter brush pen to add sparkle to the fish and water. I used a stitched die to add the sentiment to.
Here is the inside of my pop-up card. It was so easy and looks so cute!
Here are tall grasses.
The fishing basket.
The fishing lure and hook.I added sparkle to them as well.
And the inside sentiment.       He  really liked it and  I'm really happy with how it turned out.

Thank you for stopping by, have a great day and please stay safe!

Baby Album- HEAVY PHOTOS

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice day!  I'm having another busy one! I am getting ready to go to Florida to attend my 24 year old granddaughter Alexis's baby shower! Yep, I'm gonna be  a great grandma and married to a great grandpa!!!! We are so excited! After the shower I am riding back with my youngest daughter Amy and my youngest granddaughter Ruby 4 (Alexis's aunt and cousin) to their house in Port St. Lucie to babysit Ruby for a week so Mom can get her school band room ready for her students and the new school year. Then I'm going back to Jacksonville to stay with Alexis and Christian to help out and organize things.    I have been sooooo busy this past couple of months. Sewing for Ruby (dresses and outfit and then her mermaid doll, that I posted earlier, for her birthday) and working on a baby quilt and a baby album! Also Amy, Daryl and Ruby were here for the week of the 4th of July and we had sooo much fun and on the go all the time! I may get to rest a little tomorrow and Thursday.
Today I want to share the baby album the I made.
This is the front cover. Most of the dies that I used were from Aliexpress and the stamps as well.
I love this cute little bear! I used Glossy Accents on the eyes, nose and pacifier. I think the Baby sentiment die is so beautiful!
This is the inside cover and first page.
So cute.
The baby's first and middle name's are Gideon Andrew. Christian's Father passed away this past February. He wanted to be a grandpa so much. He never knew they were going to have a baby (she wasn't expecting then). His middle name was Andrew so that is going to be the baby's middle name.
