Our Polly and Poppy's Halloween Photos

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a nice Sunday afternoon. I just took a nice zucchini bread out of the oven and shredded and froze 15 cups of zucchini.

I wanted to share some photos of our sweet kitties Polly and Poppy.

This is sweet little Polly. She pushed the pumpkin flower arrangement over trying to smell the silk flowers.

She's so cute!

And this is sweet little Poppy. Shes so photogenic!

We just love our precious Polly and Poppy! They are sisters, rescue kitties.

Witching Hour Halloween Card

Happy Halloween everyone! I hope you are having a great evening! We just had our homemade chili and pumpkin pie, YUM! Now we are setting up our jack-o-lantern and chairs and ready to hand our treats!
I am posting my last Halloween card of the season.

I made this card for my oldest granddaughter and her boyfriend. I love how it turned out! I was so excited to send it to her that I forgot to take photos of it! She took photos and just sent them to me.

I love this cat die I just purchased! The little sparkly stars are from a die set that I have. I love the tiny star paper and the witching hour sentiment!

Re-purposed Headboard Quilt Rack

Good evening everyone! I hope you have had a great weekend. I am posting something that I have meant to post for a very long time. This is an old, and I mean old headboard that I bought at a flea market in Maggie Valley, North Carolina 12 or 13 years ago. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it when I saw it. With lots of elbow grease, sanding, primer, base coat, drawing a pattern, transferring it to the headboard, painting it, and finally top coat sealer I had a whimsical quilt rack! At first I was going to sell it. I had it in a craft show in Tennessee. A man saw it and came running to my table, he was so excited about this quilt rack. He yelled for his wife and she came running too. They oood-and-aaahd about it and even told me it was so whimsical and just magical. They wanted to purchase it so bad BUT........ they were visiting from Scotland and it would have cost them more than I had on it to have it shipped to Scotland. Well, I decided to keep it for my guest bedroom and I love it. I hope you like it as much as I do.

I love how my quilt looks hanging from my quilt rack!

I just had to turn the top knobs into little bluebirds! Please excuse any nicks or marks, I have had it for a long time.

I love my whimsical kitties and sunflowers! Oh, and the sweet little mouse at the end! Have a wonderful evening and thank you for stopping by!

Here is a sweet litte card I made. I love the image!!!

I absolutely LOVE this darling image!!! As you can see, I paper pieced the girls pants and added a bow to her hair.

I added a little sparkle by using a glitter pen on some of her hair and added the sparkly gems.

I popped the image up for added dimension.

Goodbye My Beloved Cricket

This is very difficult for me to write. My beloved cat Cricket passed away Wednesday night at 7:11 p.m... We got her when she was 7 weeks old (and she and I immediately bonded) and we had her for 14 years. She was my best friend, my baby, the best kitty in the world. My heart is totally broken. I am having a very hard time with this and I don't think I have ever hurt as much. She slept with me every night. She shared my food. When I had both of my surgeries, she would not leave my side, only to eat and use her litter box then she was right back to me. She loved to give me "kitty kisses" all the time. Now I will never have her "kitty kisses" again. I miss her so much. So much. My heart aches. I can't stop crying. I wanted to write this to honor her.
I don't know when I will be posting something again, I just don't have the heart to work on any cards or crafts. If I don't comment on your post, please know this is why. Thank you.

Rest in peace my baby kitty Cricket. I will always love you and you will always be in my heart.

Deck The Halls Kitty Card

Some of you may know that I LOVE CATS! We have three, Cricket, Clementine, and Daisy. This adorable kitty stamp is one that I won from EUREKA Stamps. It was so much fun to color in fact three of the cats, I colored like our kitties. I hope you enjoy it.

The big fat kitty on the bottom looks just like our Clementine, the white and black kitty just like my kitty Cricket, and kitty on top looks like our kitty Daisy. I think the little grey kitten is sweet too.
