I love the sweet image and how my fireflies "glow"! If you look close you can see the glow on the girls fave, back and knee. I chalked the background.
I love how this card turned out!

Sounds like you ate some really good food today. Sam and I ate a whole watermelon this week and it sure was good. y tummy is still not well enough for BBQ. :( Love this card She is adorable and love how you colored the yellow around the fireflies where they are just glowing. The blue you did really made this card. Again, I love it.
ReplyDeleteHave a creative day.

Definitely an adorable card! Love the sparkle of the fireflies. And adorable image. Can I come for dinner? Sounds awesome. Oops, guess you've probably already eaten. We didn't have nearly that feast but it was just Tom and I tonight. We are off again on Thursday for our last trip before we stay home to await the twins. Headed for Florida to see our son Steve and his wife Anne. Looking forward to seeing them again. Have a great week!

Your cards are always the best with all your personal little touches you add to them! Love the cards and the fireflies!
ReplyDeleteSounds as though you had a great Labor Day feast to end the summer. Yummy. At least we had good weather for a cookout. Your chalk background is so soft & pretty, very smooth. I like the scalloped easel card, and what a sweet image with the little girl catching fireflies. Great coloring too. I can remember doing that! TFS & Hugs
ReplyDeletePam your menu sounds delish!!! And your card is so cute!!! I used to catch fireflies when I was a kid and would pull the light off the bug (sad i know!) and would pretend it to be a "ring" on my finger! LOL ... so pathetic and sad but such a true story!!! LOL ..... I love how you created the glow on her body and love that you used some chalks. I haven't used chalks in a long while, I may have to bust out with mine and give it a go again!! Thanks for the inspiration and thank you for linking this up in our Funday Friday challenge this week!
