Pumpkin Scarecrow Card

Good morning everyone, I hope you all are having a nice day!  It is bright and sunny and finally cooler here.
I'm here with my third and last scarecrow card. They were all three so much fun to to make!

I love this pretty pumpkin print paper!
I think the sentiment is so sweet that I used it on all three cards!
He has a green gingham check bow to match his green hat. I just love his happy face!

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful day!

Sunflower Scarecrow Fall Card

Hello everyone, I hope your morning is a lovely one!  It is supposed to be mostly cloudy here with a chance of showers.
I want to share another Fall card with you.    I actually made three of these little cuties but I used different papers for all. I will post them as well.
I LOVE this cute scarecrow face! It is a die that I purchased from Aliexpress. I thought the sentiment was PERFECT for this little fellow!
I loved how all the pattern papers came together!
I think the sunflower paper is darling!

Just look at that face!     I inked around his face and hair and used my white gel pen to highlight his nose, cheeks, hat and sunflower. I gave him a bowtie for sofistication! LOL!
Thank you for stopping by and I hope you have a great day! Scarecrow kisses and Autumn wishes!

Re-purposed Headboard Quilt Rack

Good evening everyone! I hope you have had a great weekend.       I am posting something that I have meant to post for a very long time.  This is an old, and I mean old headboard that I bought at a flea market in Maggie Valley, North Carolina 12 or 13 years ago. I knew exactly what I wanted to do with it when I saw it. With lots of elbow grease, sanding, primer, base coat, drawing a pattern, transferring it to the headboard, painting it, and finally top coat sealer I had a whimsical quilt rack!  At first I was going to sell it. I had it in a craft show in Tennessee. A man saw it and came running to my table, he was so excited about this quilt rack. He yelled for his wife and she came running too.  They oood-and-aaahd about it and even told me it was so whimsical and just magical. They wanted to purchase it so bad BUT........ they were visiting from Scotland and it would have cost them more than I had on it to have it shipped to Scotland.    Well, I decided to keep it for my guest bedroom and I love it.  I hope you like it as much as I do.
I love how my quilt looks hanging from my quilt rack!
I just had to turn the top knobs into little bluebirds!  Please excuse any nicks or marks, I have had it for a long time.
I love my whimsical kitties and sunflowers! Oh, and the sweet little mouse at the end!    Have a wonderful evening and thank you for stopping by!

A Little Painting I Did.

Here is a little painting I did. I was inspired by Sandy Setliff. Sandy does beautiful artwork and I just had to try it for myself. You should go over and check out her blog, The Hills of North Carolina, it's awesome!
Thank you for the inspiration Sandy, (I've done three more)!

I just love the sweet sentiment. "The flower doesn't dream of the bee, it blossoms, and the bee comes to it."
Of course after I finished it, I realized doesn't was spelled wrong. Oh well I will just have to do another one. That's what I get for finding a sentiment on the web and writing it the way I saw it. I had it in a frame but the light made a glare when I took the photo so I had to take it out of the frame.
I love all the curly q's.
Here is a close up of the sparkly bee wings..
I hope you enjoyed looking at my little painting.
