Gingerbread Boys in Basket Christmas Card

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a good day.   Well, another Christmas has come and gone. I hope all of yours was a good one. Ours was quiet. A lot of phone time to kids and grand-kids, good food, Christmas movies and snuggles with our kitties.        I wanted to share with you the Christmas card that I made for my 8 year old granddaughter.

I love gingerbread and I love this sweet card!  It is a Silhouette Store file. The basket and gingerbread boys are popped up for dimension. I really like the paper prints that I chose and the cute bow.

I hope that you enjoyed seeing my card.   Thanks for stopping by and have a great day!

Great-grandson's First Birthday Card

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice evening.  I've been busy, I did some planting yesterday and today (vegetable garden and flower garden), made a card and did some sewing and then fixed dinner.

My great-grandson just celebrated his first birthday. His mom said he likes turtles so, I made him a turtle card. I used a card file from Silhouette, cut a second head and used an action wobble so his head would move. I also used a textured green cardstock so that his shell looked real. I heat embossed the sentiments with a glitter embossing powder.    I'm sorry my desk was a mess, I took the photo to send to a friend and forgot to take another before I mailed it out.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening.

Daffodil Watering Can Easter Box Card

Hello everyone, I hope you had a nice day! I had a busy one. I rode my recumbent bike for 80 minutes, vacuumed, planted some iris a neighbor gave me, packaged up some Easter treats to mail to grand-kids,  cooked dinner and took photos of my cards.WHEW!!!             I am sharing a card that I made for my Aunt June. It is a box card from Silhouette. I included several packages of flower seeds for her to plant.

I think that it is so pretty and a special card for a special person. The little tag is from a die set that I have and the sentiment and bunny are from one of my stamp sets. I just love it.

Thank you for stopping by and have a wonderful evening.

Owl Graduation Card

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a nice day!  I have had a productive day. I did some housework, finished a birthday card, worked on a pair of shorts and top, ordered a new quilt book and getting ready to make a salad and baked potatoes because my hubby is outside smoking a pork loin.
I made a couple of graduation cards using a Silhouette file.
I just think this little owl is so cute! I embossed his wings and the used ink to add depth. How do you like his sparkly red glasses. He must be a fan of Elton John! LOL! I topped him off with a bow tie and sparkly tassel.
This is the inside of the card, short and to the point.  This was a quick and easy card to make.

I hope you enjoyed seeing my card. Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening!

Penguin Valentine Easel Card

Hello everyone, I hope your having a nice day!  I am looking out at snow that is slowly melting. It sure is beautiful but I'm glad we wont have to deal with icy roads.
I am here to share the Valentine that I made for my grand-daughter Ruby. The circle scallop easel card and the cute little penguin are both are Silhouette files. Ruby loves the penguin exhibit at Sea World so when I saw this cute little penguine file I had to get it.
I just love how it turned out! You know how you get an idea in your mind and then it turns out just like you pictured it, well this did. She's in her cozy pink and white sweater and has on a silly heart headband.
I popped up the hearts she's holding for more dimension and used my white gel pen to highlight her eyes, beak and flipper feet.  I added a little heart brad to the inside so it would stand up.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Cardinal 3-D Card

Hello everyone, I hope you all are having a nice evening.   It's been pretty cold here. We have also had a few mild days as well.      I went for blood work Tuesday and today I went for a CT scan. I go see my Oncoligist and my Surgeon on different days next week. First big check up since I finished chemotherapy.
My sweet physical therapist contacted me and wanted to know if I had any sympathy cards. Her uncle passed away and she wanted a card with a cardinal on it to send her aunt. This is the card I made for her using a Silhouette file.

I did not use the background with the cut out holes for snowflakes because they were too uniform. I had this beautiful blue paper with shiny embossed snowflake dots which looked much better.

Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening!

Winter Wonderland Step Card

Hello everyone, I hope you are all well. I finished my chemotherapy almost 3 weeks ago so I'm trying to do a little more. I still go for bloodwork every week and go see my Oncologist next week.
I managed to make one Christmas card, for my 5 year old granddaughter. She lives in Florida and has become a little obsessed with Winter. During our many daily phone calls or Granny-o-chats (what she calls our video chats) she wants to hear all about Winter and snow, so I decided to make a Winter card.
I made a step card and used some cute background paper I've had for several years. It's a pretty light blue with shiny white dots that look exactly like snow.
I used a couple of dies that I purchased from Aliexpress, the cute snowman and the beautiful snowflake arch.
I cut two layers of plain white cardstock and one of white glitter paper for the snowflake arch, I glued them together and that was much easier than I thought. I then cut a piece of clear acetate and attached it for stability.
I cut double layers for the snowman and snowballs. I cut another arch of acetate for the snowballs so it looks like he is juggling snowballs.     I heat embossed the sentiments in a shiny red. Inside I heat embossed Merry Christmas in the same red.
I love how it turned out! I was a little shaky after I finished it but it was nice to be able to work on an idea I had and finish it!
I hope you all enjoyed seeing my card.  Thank you so much for stopping by and have a great day!

Purple Standing Easel Easter Card

Hello everyone, hope you are having a nice day! It started out in the 30's here but is warming up nicely sun shinning bright and going to heat up to around 72.           I am here with another Easter card, an easel card.
The card base is a Silhouette file as is the cute bunny.
I added a stripe of yellow because purple and yellow just says Easter to me.
I left the inside blank so I could write my own Easter greetings. I really like how it turned out!
Zachary my grandson and I are are going outside to get the dirt ready for my tomato buckets. I can't wait for vine ripe juicy tomatoes!    Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Rapunzel Pop Up Box Valentine Card

Hello everyone, I hope you are having a nice Valentines day!   I wanted to save my best Valentine for last. It is the Valentine I made for our grand-daughter Ruby.
Ruby loves Rapunzel so when I found this Rapunzel stamp set I was so excited and knew how I wanted to use it! I purchased it on Ebay.
It is a large stamp and I actually had to cut a little off the bottom after I stamped it. I colored it with my Spectrum Noir markers and glitter markers.
The card itself is from a Silhouette file I own.
After I got it put together I thought it needed something so I punched out a bunch of tiny hearts and added them to the trees and along the bottom border. I love it!
The Happy Valentine's Day stamp is one I have had a long time and is perfect for rectangle and square mats.
I even added a cloud on the side panel to continue the flow.
Well there you have it, all my Valentines cards for this year.  I hope you enjoyed seeing them! Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!
