Seven Dwarfs Dress and Doll Dress

Hello everyone, are you surviving the heat where you live?  I sure is hot here! We are supposed to get some rain, maybe it will cool things off.
I have cuteness overload for you. As I said before, my grand-daughters 3rd birthday is next month and I have been busy making things for her.  I made the cutest dress for her and her baby doll.
I wanted to make them as much alike as I could.
I found the seven dwarfs fabric at a fabric outlet in Virginia.      She loves her three little pigs dress so much so, I'm sure she will love this.
I couldn't use the seven dwarfs fabric for the doll dress because the print was to large so I went with the apple print and the same gingham check sleeve fabric. I LOVE the sweet little gingham check buttons!
Here is a look at the bodice which was a little tricky.
I just love how the fabrics look together! There are those sweet little gingham check buttons!
I think the gingham check above the hem looks great! I did the same to the doll dress as well.
I hope you enjoyed seeing the dresses! I made another outfit for Ruby with matching doll outfit. I will post those as well.                   Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening (keep cool)!

Hugs Pam

  4. Aren't you lucky to have this little sweetie to motivate you into sewing these adorable little dresses. (as well as making the tiny little game sets you did recently). She's a lucky little one to have a sweet & talented grandma who takes time to do these special goodies for her too. The fabric is just too adorable, and I love the cool style of this little dress. Takes me back to the time when my Mom used to make these little outfits for my daughter (I worked and didn't have either the time or skill to do this!) And how marvelous you made her dolly a matching outfit. She will LOVE both of these. TFS & stay cool. At least we've been getting a few evening showers. A good all night gentle rain would be great for the ground.

  5. Playing catch up on my commenting before my computer goes away for a while. I am dreading that. Another adorable outfit. I love the dwarves and the gingham really sets it off. I am in awe of your sewing skills because I can't do it. LOL! So cute!

  6. WOW this is way cuter than I imagined when you were telling me about it. The fabric is too stinken cute. The dress you made for her doll is precious. Her and her doll will be dressing in style for sure.
    Hugs
