Pretty Poinsettias Christmas Card

Good evening, I hope everyone has had a good day!  I have had an extremely busy day and I am exhausted!  I am posting my fifth Christmas card.    I really do love how it turned out! I didn't have a poinsettia die or stamp soooooo, I used my Silhouette and a blank stencil sheet to cut my own stencil. I then inked it and cut it out, added some veins and punched yellow dots for the centers. I also inked and cut out the leaves then put them all together. Wa-La, poinsettias! I hope you like my card.
Well here it is.  I love the green and white stripe background.  I heat embossed the sentiment in gold.
I used my Spellbinders borderbilites for the edge shape and Spellbinders for the center mats. I used my EK Success eyelet scallop for the top edge.
Of course I added a little sparkle!
This is the inside of my card.                         Thank you for stopping by and have a great evening!

  4. Hard to say this, BUT - I think this is one of your best cards yet! Just love everything about it, and wonderful dimension on the poinsettias. I'm in awe that you were able to use the Silhouette to do a stencil (I want to learn to do this!) and the S/B scalloped curved border is a great design detail. The top & bottom borders look terrific with the dp and all the festive color. Great work on this one! TFS & Hugs

  5. Pam, this is a stunning card. And reading all about the process makes it even more stunning. Such a lot of work went into this gorgeous card. Yes, it's been a long day. Just took the twins home. We had them from 12:30 until 11 pm this evening. I love them to death but they wear me out. LOL!
