BEWARE!
This is going to be one long post! Here is what I have been working on for the past few months. Not only did I make one, I had to make three. It was very labor intensive but very rewarding in the end result. I always loved the story of Sleepy Hollow so when I had the chance to make this creation I was thrilled. I hope you enjoy the photos.
First was the cutting of the pattern pieces. I did alter my pattern which did not have ears on the horse soooo, I made some. I also changed the shape of the horse legs in front so he would stand.
I cut, sewed, stuffed pewwww. Then came the fun part. Painting, gluing, adding hair, sewing clothes, distressing. I thought I would NEVER finish.
Well I finally did, and here is the finished product.
Hugs Pam
OMG... this is STUNNING!!! I have talked to your daily on the phone while you were working on them. Even thou you described them in great detail I never imagined they would be this stunning. The clothing is fabulous. Love that pumpkin. But the mane on the horse is outstanding. You did a fabulous job my friend. This to me is your best project for 2014. I love it.
