I have some special news, I'm a great-grandma! Little Gideon Andrew was born October 18th. My grand-daughter Alexis had to have an emergency C-section 3 weeks early. Even though Gideon was considered a preemie he was 9-1/2 lbs and 22 inches long. Everything checked out for a normal healthy baby but the next day they saw his breathing was labored. Because he was born by C-section he had fluid on his lungs which made it so he wasn't eating much which lowered his blood sugar. Well he was put in NICU for a week. I felt so bad for Alexis and Christian having to go home without their baby. The went to the NICU every day (he was improving daily) and by Thursday the Doctor wanted them to spend the night so Alexis could nurse him. Well the next day they were able to take him home! They are so excited! Little Gideon is very loved and gets LOTS of attention!

Congratulations Pam! What a wonderful event. He's such a little doll baby. Get in all the cuddles you can. You know how fast they grow up. Glad that his medical issues are resolved. I haven't heard that name in a long time. But it's a great name!
