FSU Dress and Top with Shorts

Hello everyone, I hope your day is going well! Another very rainy day here!        I'm here with some more sewing projects. FSU (Florida State University) projects to be exact.
I made this cute little FSU pillowcase dress for my grand-daughter Ruby. She loves these dresses, cool, comfortable and as she grows they can be used as a top! When weather gets a little cool she can wear a T-shirt under it.
I used the alphabet stitches on my sewing machine to sew FSU on the accent strip around the dress. I love how it turned out!
I had enough fabric to make a top and made some shorts to go with it!    I have had this fabric for a while. My daughter picked it out because of the FSU colors and the arrows (FSU Seminoles) I just wasn't sure what I wanted to do with it.
I hope you enjoyed seeing my projects!    Thank you for stopping by and have a great day!

Hugs Pam

  3. Pam, you always dazzle me with your sewing ability. Wish I had the patience to do that too. Ruby is one lucky little girl to have a grandmother like you! Love the FSU wear and so will Ruby. Hope all is well. Valerie had a seizure yesterday from too high of a fever (103). We had to keep Arthur while they stabilized her at the hospital. She eventually came home. Tom will be retiring at the end of June so life around here will be very different. Take care! Hugs to you.
